Highlights of the conference

Renowned international and national scholars of Bhagwad Gita will be part of the conference and their papers will be published in proceedings from researches of different subjects and languages. The proceedings of conference will be used as direction for future research and works on SrimadBhagavadagita. The seminar is supported by the Govt. of Haryana and outcomes of discussions shall provide new ideas and way forward for developing Kurukshetra as a land of Srimad Bhagavada Gita.

* More sessions and organizing departments will be added

a) Papers will be invited from diverse disciplines on the theme of the Seminar, which will be referred by the participating Departments/ Institutes.
b) Each participating Department/ Institute will evaluate the full papers in terms of their content, methodology, contribution and presentation and recommend one paper for ‘Best Paper Award’ in their respective technical session.
c) Three ‘Best Paper Awards’ will also be given for the poster presentation.
d) Selected papers will be published in Edited Book/KURJ/ JHS after fulfilling the guidelines for publication in these journals.
e) A website/app. be made to publicize the theme of Seminar, invited papers and disseminate the information pertaining to the event.

Guidelines for participants

a) One person can not submit and present more than two papers.
b) Good quality abstracts will be given as opportunity for poster presentation.
c) Paper presentation in the technical session will be allowed only when the full paper is submitted.
d) Certificate will be given only if presentation is made. The participant should be present during the poster presentation session.
e) Co-authors will have to register separately.
f) Best Paper Awards will be given certificates during the Valedictory Session. Participant will be eligible to receive only one best paper award.

Academicians, Researchers, Environmentalist, Scholars, Writers, Thinkers, Industry experts and Students of SrimadBhagadGita.

Submission Guidelines

Papers on the suggested themes or related themes can be submitted. Full papers shall be 3000-5000 words shall include name(s) of author(s), affiliation, postal and email address. Papers can be written in English/Hindi/ Sanskrit. Participants are encouraged to submit the original research and strictly avoid plagiarism. Authors are required to submit an abstract of around 300 words latest by 30th November, 2024. Full papers can be submitted by 30th November, 2024. Papers shall follow the style sheets for their respective disciplines as the Conference technical sessions are coordinated by Dept of Sanskrit-PaliPrakrit, Institute of Management Studies, Institute of Integrated and Honors Studies, Dept. of Music and Dance, Dept. of Home Science,Institute of Environment Science, Dept. of Social Work and University Institute of Engineering & Technology. Papers are expected from Sanskrit, Tourism, Philosophy, English and all Arts and Science streams.

Selected abstracts will be published in the Souvenir, which will be released in the Inaugural Ceremony and selected papers will be published in a special issue of Kurukshetra University Research Journal or Edited Book.
